Ground Worker

Multi Trades Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Ground Worker to join a busy road works and civil engineering project in Gloucester . We are looking for a reliable and experienced Ground Worker with a strong background in road works, civils and general groundwork . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing project work with a well-established site team. About the Role You will be working as part of a site team carrying out groundwork and road works duties, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Duties Include: General groundwork and civil engineering duties Road works and highway maintenance Excavation and trenching Drainage and ducting works Installing and working around kerbs, slabs and edging Ground preparation and levelling Concrete works and foundations Operating hand tools and small site equipment Assisting plant operators and other trades Moving and preparing materials Following site drawings and instructions Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following all site Health & Safety procedures About You: Previous experience working as a Ground Worker Experience within road works, highways or civil engineering Good knowledge of general groundwork and site procedures Able to carry out excavation, drainage and ground preparation works Reliable, punctual and hardworking Able to work effectively as part of a team Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements Full PPE required Relevant CSCS/NPORS or other site qualifications advantageous Why Apply?
