Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant Salary: 28,000 - 32,000 Location: Leeds The Role An exciting opportunity to join one of England's largest care home developers, supporting the design of schemes across a national portfolio from initial feasibility through to planning approval. Working closely with the in-house Land, Planning, Development Design and Technical teams, and external consultants, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a live, fast-moving development pipeline while building towards Part 3. The Person A Part 2 qualified architectural graduate, enthusiastic about high-quality care development, with a proactive and pragmatic approach - comfortable working on allocated tasks with support, collaborating across disciplines, and responding well to feedback. Organised and capable of managing competing deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities Support feasibility-stage site layouts and design solutions, responding to site constraints, surveys and planning policy. Produce and maintain Revit models and planning drawing packages (layouts, plans, elevations, sections, diagrams) under guidance. Assist in progressing allocated schemes through planning, including liaising with the in-house Planning team and responding to feedback/consultee comments. Support design amendments and 3D visualisation/presentation material for submissions and design reviews. Help coordinate with external consultants (landscape, drainage, highways, ecology, arboriculture) to optimise layouts. Manage personal workload across multiple projects, attend site visits, and maintain accurate records. Support consideration of design-related health and safety risks (CDM Regulations) and handover of approved schemes to Technical and Construction teams. Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills Part 2 qualification in Architecture (or equivalent) from a RIBA/ARB-recognised course; some practical experience in an architectural/development design role.
