Teaching Assistant

Olchfa is looking for Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team of learning support staff at our outstanding school. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the national ALN reforms, in a school that is leading the way in promoting inclusion. We welcome applications from all levels of experience. The successful candidate may be someone returning to the workplace following a career break, or already have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary or secondary setting. We also welcome applications from candidates who may be considering a future route into teaching and wanting to gain some experience of working within a school. Successful candidates will need to have a strong sense of empathy with young people and some of the challenges they face in their lives. We will provide ongoing training and development to support you in your role.
