Job Description

The Royal Kent School is a happy and high achieving one form entry primary school in Oxshott, Surrey. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and resilient SEN Learning Support Assistant to support children in Nursery and Reception with Special Educational Needs.  This will be on a 1:1 or small group basis. The role will also include supporting children at lunchtime through overseeing play along with supervising pupils whilst they have their meals.   The hours are 8.40am - 3.15pm, Monday to Friday. This is a temporary appointment linked to pupil funding which is expected to last at least a year. Experience of working with children with special educational needs, although not a pre-requisite A proven ability to work on own initiative. A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults. The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
