To help us achieve that, we are looking for 2 Clerical Assistants, to join our Business and Strategy, Corporate Admin team and the Museums Admin Team. One post provides a wide range of administrative support to HQ service teams, including Marketing, Events, Learning & Development and Infrastructure Support. The other post is within the Museums Admin Hub supporting all GL Museum Venues. *A key element of the 21 hour post is delivering a professional welcome and enquiry service for visitors to Glasgow Life Headquarters within a busy office environment Our teams focus on making a real difference through culture and sport in Glasgow. What you need to know Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday , 09:00 to 17:00. 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00. Please note: The 21 hour post is a fully office-based role. Attendance at Commonwealth House is required during all contracted hours. Hybrid or home working is not available for the 21 hour post. Contract type: Permanent. What you’ll do As a Clerical Assistant, you'll be part of an established Administration team, reporting to the Administration Officer. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of Glasgow Life Headquarters or Glasgow Life Museums, acting as a professional first point of contact for visitors, colleagues and external stakeholders. Working within a busy office environment, you'll help create a welcoming and efficient experience for everyone entering the building while ensuring enquiries are handled promptly and professionally. Your responsibilities will include: Welcoming visitors and directing them appropriately. Managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries. Processing incoming and outgoing deliveries. Supporting administrative and financial processes. Maintaining accurate records and information. Providing clerical support to service teams across Glasgow Life Headquarters or Glasgow Life Museums. You'll also contribute to the delivery of services that make a real difference across the city, whether that's supporting communities, helping people get active, creating cultural experiences, or providing the behind-the-scenes support that makes it all possible.
