Glasgow Life operates community centres throughout the city providing warm, welcoming and safe spaces for communities to take part in a wide range of activities and access to a range of support services. What you need to know Hours: 35 per week. Typical working pattern over two weeks – Week 1 Mon – Fri 0730-1430, Week 2 Mon-Fri 1430-2130. This pattern is illustrative only, days and times vary and include regular weekends. Contract type: Permanent Location: City-wide, with your main base discussed at interview. What you’ll do As a Glasgow Life Attendant, you’ll be a part of an established team, reporting to the Community Services Supervisor. You’ll play an essential role in supporting the operations of a number of community centres across the city, this involves maintaining community venues to high levels of safety, cleanliness and housekeeping, interacting with customers and key stakeholders using our facilities, providing a welcoming, safe and secure environment. The role requires facility preparation, opening and closing, cleaning, setting up and dismantling of equipment (e.g. tables and chairs), cash handling and customer service. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference.
