Our client is seeking a dedicated and professional Mail Operative to join their team in Sighthill, City of Edinburgh. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where excellent customer service is at the forefront of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively represent the organisation on-site, ensuring exceptional customer service in all interactions.


• Efficiently receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.


• Handle client enquiries both face-to-face and over the phone.


• Maintain an organised filing system by filing and retrieving documents accurately.


• Manage the booking and receipt of courier items.


• Process archive files and track signature movements using onsite computer systems.


• Undertake any additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager or client.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrates a professional attitude in all client interactions.


• Possesses experience in processing archive files and tracking movements using computer systems.


• Exhibits strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a diverse range of individuals.


• Works efficiently under pressure while meeting tight deadlines, maintaining composure.


• Basic IT skills are essential, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and web applications.


• Availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm.
