Nanny Location: South Ascot, Berkshire Start Date: October 2026 Hours/Days: Approximately 32 hours per week. Monday - Thursday 14:30 - 19:30 or 15:00 - 20:00 and Friday 7:30 - 19:30. Salary: £20gph. Flexible depending on experience Children: Baby boy, born December 2025, and girl aged 4 Driver: Essential – own car or family car available Job Reference: EHS #9527 About the Role A warm and family-focused household in South Ascot is seeking an experienced Nanny to provide consistent afternoon and evening care for their two young children. The role will initially focus solely on the baby, with care transitioning to both children once the older child is also incorporated into the afternoon routine. The family is looking for someone calm, nurturing and engaging who will become a trusted and valued member of the household. Duties School and nursery collections and drop-offs Providing attentive and age-appropriate care for both children Planning engaging, educational and play-based activities Supporting the older child with early learning and homework Preparing healthy meals and snacks Managing mealtimes and cleaning children's feeding equipment Bath and bedtime routines Preparing school/nursery bags for the following day Keeping children's play areas tidy Children's laundry Cleaning bottles, bibs, highchair and baby equipment Loading/unloading the dishwasher with children's items Communicating with parents regarding the children's day, including naps, meals, activities and any concerns Liaising with school and nursery staff where required Occasional local errands with the children Candidate Requirements Have strong professional nannying experience, including experience caring for babies aged 0–1 years in a private household Be warm, calm, nurturing and positive Have excellent communication skills and be confident providing regular updates to the parents Enjoy engaging children through conversation, play and age-appropriate learning Be comfortable working alongside tutors and supporting a play-based learning approach Be reliable, organised and punctual, particularly for school and nursery collections Be flexible and willing to occasionally stay later when required Have excellent childcare references
