SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Reading Start Date: ASAP Pay Scale: £90.00 - £105.00 per day Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity within a supportive school environment? Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs or a strong understanding of SEN? A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Reading is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH. This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, and social development Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Encouraging positive engagement and building pupils' confidence Supporting teachers with classroom activities and interventions Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff ASAP start Well-connected Reading location with excellent transport links If you have previous experience working with children, particularly within an SEN setting, or have a strong understanding of additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
