SEND Teaching Assistant Daily Rate: £95 - £120 Location: East London Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in East London. This role involves working full-time with children who have challenging behaviours and other special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a significant impact in the lives of students requiring additional support. Day-to-day of the role: Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEND, focusing on individual learning needs and behavioural management. Work closely with the lead teacher to implement educational plans and activities that cater to the specific needs of each child. Assist in managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students. Facilitate social interaction and participation in class activities among students. Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to help further support the students' educational journeys. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience working with children with challenging behaviours and other SEND needs. Strong understanding of the strategies needed to manage classroom behaviour effectively. Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to student interaction. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
