Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Steel Fabricator to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating steel sections and structures with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Duties Cutting, shaping, and assembling steel fabrications using various fabrication techniques Performing MIG welding and other welding processes to join metal parts securely Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and effectively Reading and interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication Conducting quality inspections on finished products to meet specifications Assisting in the assembly of fabricated components into larger structures or systems where required in the factory Maintaining a clean, organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency Skills Fully qualified in fabrication & welding Strong knowledge of fabrication processes for structural steel Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of assembly procedures Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and drawing interpretation Familiarity with safety protocols related to welding and metal fabrication environments Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively This role is ideal for individuals passionate about steelwork, looking to develop their skills within a professional setting for high profile clients.
