Skilled Operative

Skilled Operative Location: Derby DE65 Rate: £220 per day (Umbrella PAYE) Start Date: 10th August 2026 Duration: Approximately 6 weeks We are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled Operative who also holds Dumper and Slinger/Signaller tickets to join a busy civil engineering project in Derby. Requirements: Valid CSCS Card CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller Ticket Previous experience on civil engineering or utilities projects Experience working around drainage, excavations and heavy plant Good understanding of site health and safety Start date: 10.08.2026 Duties: Operating a dumper when required Carrying out slinger/signaller duties Assisting with general civil engineering and groundwork activities Supporting excavation, drainage and utility installation works Working safely alongside plant and lifting operations This is an immediate start on a busy infrastructure project, offering approximately six weeks' work with the potential for further opportunities.
