Job Title: Strategic Property Project Consultant Location: Ealing, West London - Travel round borough for site visits. Working arrangements: Hybrid working, 1 day office a week, & site visits (as required) Daily rate: 400 Umbrella Contract Length: 6-month contract (possibility of extension) Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours ASAP Start A Local Authority based in Ealing is seeking a Strategic Property Project Consultant to lead a high-profile programme reviewing and preparing council-owned residential properties for disposal. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future management of the council's property portfolio while delivering best value for residents and communities. About the Role Working within the Strategic Property and Investment team, you will take ownership of a dedicated property disposal project involving residential properties attached to schools and parks across the borough. You will assess opportunities for disposal, develop a future-proof disposal process, and work closely with internal stakeholders, legal teams and external consultants to deliver successful outcomes. The project initially involves approximately 11 residential properties, with the potential to expand to around 20 sites. Key Responsibilities Review and assess council-owned residential properties for disposal opportunities. Conduct site inspections and work closely with Education, Property and Legal teams. Evaluate title arrangements and identify opportunities to separate properties from existing Land Registry titles. Lead and manage property disposal projects, ensuring best value is achieved. Prepare information required for legal disposal packs and support title amendment processes. Coordinate valuations, surveys, repairs and technical investigations where required.
