Ganger/ Ground Worker

Jaberu Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Ganger/ Ground Worker with Supervisory Experience to join our client on a permanent, full-time PAYE basis . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ground Worker who is ready to take on additional responsibility and play a key role in supervising groundwork activities on site. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out a range of groundworks while also supporting the management and supervision of site teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include: Carrying out general groundworks and site preparation Excavation and trenching Drainage and pipe installation Kerbing, paving and concreting Supervising and coordinating Ground Workers and site operatives Allocating tasks and monitoring team performance Ensuring work is completed to the required specification and programme Liaising with site management and other trades Working safely around plant and machinery Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times Identifying and reporting any issues on site Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment Supporting the site management team as required Requirements Proven experience as a Ground Worker Previous supervisory or team-leading experience essential Full UK driving licence essential CSCS card Good understanding of groundworks, construction methods and site procedures Strong understanding of health & safety Ability to read and work from site plans and drawings Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to organise and motivate a team Reliable, punctual and professional approach Strong work ethic and attention to detail Right to work in the UK Own PPE (desirable) In return, our client can offer a full-time, permanent role with long-term job security and potential opportunities for c
