What you will be doing You will be on a development journey to prepare you to be a AGGP2027 Fuel & Inerting Systems Graduate and can expect to be involved in the following: The Fuel & Inerting team are responsible for the design of the complete fuel system across every commercial Airbus aircraft, at all stages of the development lifecycle. From R&T projects to Flight Test Campaigns, you can expect plenty of opportunities across our entire range of products. You will have the opportunity to complete multiple placements around the business, both within and outside the Fuel Systems Domain, working as part of experienced teams to gain a breadth of knowledge and experience across all aspects of aircraft design and development. Our Graduate Engineers operate in a very challenging environment, and over time will have the opportunity to develop their skills and grow both as Engineers and Team Leaders, ultimately helping you to realise your potential. We are entering an exciting time in our industry with a focus very much on environmentally sustainable aviation. Therefore the work you complete with us is not just limited to traditional kerosene-based fuel systems but also to new and novel technologies. The design of current and future fuel systems for the next generation of Airbus aircraft and the impact that novel fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel will have on these systems is of high importance and interest to enable Airbus to lead aviation into the future. Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of AGGP2027 – Fuel & Inerting Systems Graduate! What we look for To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate: Education to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study: Aerospace and/or Aeronautical Engineering; Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering; Computer Engineering and/or Science; Computer Modelling or related; Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; Mechatronic Engineering; Software Engineering, Systems Engineering. Desirable completed modules include Fluid Mechanics, Programming (Python, MatLab, C++), Thermodynamics, Modelling and Simulation, Systems Design and Integration, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Digital Circuits and Systems. Maximum of three years relevant work experience. Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English). A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation. The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development. A natural excitement to work in the aviation industry, to explore engineering principles and create solutions based on technical intuition & evidence.
