Multi Trade Operative (Empty Homes) Salary: Up to £38,847.17 per annum + company van Hours: 40 hours per week Location: Bracknell Contract: Full Time, Permanent The Role Empty Homes Team The Empty Homes team is responsible for preparing vacant properties for new tenants, ensuring homes are safe, well maintained, and ready to be re-let as quickly as possible. Working closely with in-house trades teams, subcontractors, housing colleagues, and incoming residents, you'll play a vital role in transforming empty properties into welcoming homes. About the Role Are you proactive, highly motivated, professional, and customer-focused? We're looking for two experienced Multi Trade Operatives to join a busy Empty Homes team. You'll carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment tasks to a high standard, helping to deliver an efficient and effective service across vacant housing stock. The role covers Ascot, Windsor, Reading, Slough, and surrounding areas. As part of a collaborative team, you'll undertake a variety of trade-related works, ensuring all repairs and installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with good building maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities Carry out a broad range of multi-trade repairs and refurbishment works. Prepare vacant properties for new tenants. Complete repairs and installations to a high standard. Work efficiently to achieve agreed turnaround times on empty properties. Collaborate with colleagues, contractors, and housing teams. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach at all times. Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements and industry best practices.
