Industrial Electrician - Gas Industry (Training Provided) Location : UK Wide (Based from Speke, Liverpool with nationwide site travel) Salary : 45,000, plus overtime, company vehicle and benefits Type : Permanent role About the Role Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our expanding Electrical & Instrumentation (EC&I) team. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician with an industrial background who is looking to develop a long-term career within the UK gas transmission and distribution industry. No previous gas industry experience is required, as full training and mentoring will be provided to the right candidate. Working alongside experienced EC&I engineers and commissioning teams, you will be involved in the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems on critical gas infrastructure projects for major UK utility clients. Key Responsibilities Install industrial electrical systems in accordance with drawings and specifications. Install containment systems including tray, ladder, conduit and trunking. Terminate and test power, control and instrumentation cables. Install field equipment including motors, actuators, junction boxes and control panels. Carry out inspection and testing in accordance with BS 7671. Work safely in line with company procedures and client standards. Complete installation records and quality documentation. Support commissioning activities where required. Travel to customer sites throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays. What We're Looking For Essential : NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Industrial installation experience. Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics. Happy to work away Monday - Friday roughly 80% of the time Full UK driving licence. Strong commitment to health and safety. Desirable (but not essential) : Inspection
