JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking an adaptable and resourceful individual to help support a fun and caring environment in both our lunchtime and breakfast club provision. Candidates will have previous experience working with children and be somebody who will engage and inspire the children through extra-curricular activities and learning, whilst upholding the values and ethos of Bishop Gilpin Primary School. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Planning and delivering activities Plan and support delivery of age-appropriate activities and experiences to support pupils’ development Offer educational instruction and/or emotion coaching (where needed) to help pupils to build and maintain positive relationships Supervise pupils effectively at all times Monitor pupils that aren’t engaging in play and feed back any concerns to class teachers WHAT WE OFFER: Highly motivated and engaged children and staff A very happy, ambitious, supportive, friendly team in this well run and respected school. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent Previous experience working with children Ability to respond to the needs of a child with flexibility and initiative A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults The ability to use relevant technology/equipment A positive, can-do attitude A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school Please note that we reserve the right to interview and appoint early for exceptional candidates.
