What you will be doing You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into a role within Manufacturing Engineering and can expect to be involved in the following: New product introduction working closely with R&T, influencing aircraft design for manufacture Delivering optimised industrial system concepts Continuous improvement and development of our current industrial systems Strategy development and leadership of projects to deliver more efficient and cost effective processes, machines and systems Introduction and industrialisation of new technologies into production Introduction of digital manufacturing solutions Daily technical support to production - identifying, analyzing and solving technical shop floor issues We offer a flexible programme, allowing you the opportunity to tailor your experience to suit the Manufacturing Engineering path you wish to take. You will be able to combine a number of rotational placements with specialist training in the UK, as well as have opportunities to work cross-functionally and transnationally. Airbus is also adopting a hybrid of on site/working from home approach, which will vary depending on your placements. Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into a position as an advanced professional Manufacturing Engineer! What we are looking for To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have: A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study - Aerospace Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Human Factors, Ergonomics or similar. Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Engineering, Aerospace, and/or Manufacturing. Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation Self-motivated and proactive in managing personal time, goals and objectives. The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
