The team The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team, comprised of c.50 professionals across EMEA, is a highly diverse and cohesive team, advising the full spectrum of financial services clients on a range of topics including strategic M&A, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. The FIG coverage universe includes the following sub-sectors; Banking & Insurance, FinTech, Asset & Wealth Management, and Exchanges & Specialty Finance. FIG offers broad training, client access from day one, global exposure, and a balanced mix of origination and execution, supported by a cohesive team culture and leadership with deep FIG experience Programme Overview Our Off-cycle Analyst programme is designed to offer you a broad and exciting experience of work within Investment Banking. Training and Development Your training and development is our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on the job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout. Responsibilities As an Off-cycle Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups providing you with a unique learning opportunity Help the team deliver solutions to clients by leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future careers Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors Eligibility Candidates are required to have already received or be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. For candidates who have already graduated, the graduation date must be after January 2026 . For candidates who are still pursuing a degree, the completion time frame must be before July 2027. Completion means that you have completed all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation. Please note that we reserve the right to request evidence of this completion date before extending an offer. On track for a minimum 2:1 degree classification or equivalent Candidates must be available to join the programme from Monday 11th January for a period of four months with an option to extend it by 2 months. If candidates were to receive a full-time offer, then they must be available to join the graduate programme from July 2027. Please note that we are unable to offer any deferred start dates.
