REED FE are seeking a skilled Technician with multi-disciplinary abilities to join a great team on a temporary basis in the East London area. This role requires a prompt start into the construction department. Technician - Multi Skills / Brickwork Hourly Rate: £16.03 - £16.94 Location: East London Job Type: Temporary, Full-time (36 hrs per week) Working Days: Monday to Friday Day-to-day of the role of a Technician: Prepare, maintain and clear workshop areas and equipment. Support lecturers and students during practical activities. Monitor and maintain stock levels and inventory records. Assist with ordering materials and obtaining best value from suppliers. Maintain workshop equipment and ensure safe working practices. Support across departments and sites when required. Promote and uphold Health & Safety standards within workshops. Required Skills & Qualifications for the multi skills technician role: Level 2 English and Maths/ GCSE Relevant industry qualification in Muti Skills or a trade like Plumbing, Electrical Installations, Carpentry or Brickwork Recent and relevant industry experience. Competent in the use of hand and power tools. Experience of Health & Safety procedures. Strong organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically capable of working in a workshop environment.
