As a Carpentry Trainer, you'll deliver high-quality Carpentry curriculum across classroom, workshop, theory and practical teaching. You'll teach learners up to Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 standards, helping them develop the practical skills, technical knowledge and professional behaviours required to succeed in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have strong Carpentry or Joinery industry experience and hold an NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in a Carpentry / Joinery discipline. You should also hold Level 2 English and Maths, or equivalent. Previous teaching experience is desirable, but candidates coming directly from industry will be considered if they have the right skills, attitude and willingness to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
