Purpose & Scope of the Role As a Principal Designer / CDM Consultant, you will be a key member of Tetra Tech's Safety Management Team, delivering CDM and health & safety advisory services across a diverse portfolio of construction projects. Acting as Principal Designer, Principal Designer Support and Client CDM Adviser, you will help clients and project teams embed health and safety into design, planning and delivery, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and CDM NI 2016. Your Impact in this Position You will work closely with clients, designers, contractors and project stakeholders to identify risks early, influence design decisions and drive best practice throughout the project lifecycle. Your expertise will help create safer working environments, support successful project delivery and strengthen Tetra Tech's reputation for technical excellence and trusted advice. Core Capabilities Principal Designer & CDM Leadership: Lead and deliver Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015 and CDM NI 2016. Provide expert CDM advice to clients and project teams throughout the design and construction process. Support the successful management of design risk on complex projects. Construction Health & Safety Expertise: Deliver practical health and safety advice across a wide range of construction environments.
