Job Description

Job Title: Security Service Engineer Location: Leeds Rate: £220 per day Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Leeds looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of security systems — including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV — across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout the Leeds area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers. Responsibilities: * Carry out planned preventative maintenance on Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems to manufacturer and industry standards. * Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, minimising system downtime for clients. * Complete all service documentation accurately, including job sheets and compliance records. * Liaise with site contacts and customers professionally, providing clear updates on work carried out. * Ensure all systems are left fully operational and compliant following each visit. Experience and Certifications required: * A minimum of 15 years' experience servicing and maintaining Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems. * Proven hands-on experience with a range of leading manufacturers' equipment across all three disciplines. * Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple sites. * Full UK driving licence, as the role requires travel across the Leeds area. * NSI or SSAIB-recognised installer/engineer certification (desirable). * FIA Fire or SIA-related security qualifications (desirable).
