Childfriendly homemaid with a passion for cooking (live-in) What you can expect: loving environment with a Swiss family based in Switzerland, generous but also demanding, we provide room to develop and shine, 1 bedroom with bathroom-ensuite (shower is planned), one toddler currently, second one planned, we love healthy fresh food, organically and regionally sourced and a sustainable lifestyle. No “deep” cleaning necessary, cleaning lady is present on 2 days. Checklist: ? 2 stellar references within the last 3 years, reference from last employer is a must ? Police record check ? Valid EU-Passport ? Willingness to work hard, be open to feedback and flexible in terms of hours if needed Working hours: normally 12:00-22:00 (10h per day) Tuesday-Saturday, as this is a live-in role, we expect a certain flexibility towards working hours Family values that are especially important to us: • Love, peace and harmony in our home • Love and respect towards children and animals – always! • Trustworthiness • Reliability Tasks in detail: Provision of light household services, cooking and babysitting, more specifically this means: Childcare & cooking services • Cooking family meals (healthy, balanced meals with carbs, veggies, protein and healthy fats) & meal prep • Organize groceries • Clean out the fridge (perishable food & cleaning the fridge itself etc.) • Clean the kitchen thoroughly after cooking • Clean our son’s eating area after eating • (Re-)Organizing in alignment with the mom (if needed, e.g. Baby clothes) • Pack the backpack or the stroller • Charge the battery of the stroller regularly • Empty out / clean the stroller / the backpack • Fill up the two nappy stations in the house, make sure they are filled all the time • Babysitting, meaning listening to the babymonitor and tend to the children, if needed especially in the evening • Holding the baby for one hour, when mom brings toddler to bed and/or wants to shower Light household tasks: • Loading and unloading the dishwasher • Minor household tasks like organizing the entrance (putting the shoes in order, clothes on hangers) • Picking up mail and running errands to the pharmacy or grocery store if needed • Receiving and putting away grocery deliveries • Receiving delivered packages and carrying them upstairs (usually clothes for our son) and unpacking them • Emptying the compost or bin (only if needed, usually it’s the task of the cleaning lady) • Bring the recycling downstairs to the laundry room (1 floor down) at the end of the day • Dog walking (in the future) Important to mention, that it’s currently only one child 2 years old and 8 months but a second child is planned. This description includes future children as well.
