Live-in Native French-Speaking Nanny & French Tutor Private Family | Nicosia, Cyprus Start: Beginning of September 2026 Position: Full-Time | Long-Term Schedule: 5–6 days/week Salary: €3,000–€4,500 net/month, depending on experience Accommodation: Private apartment available if required The Opportunity A warm and internationally minded private family in Nicosia is seeking an experienced native French-speaking Nanny & French Tutor for their daughter, who is approaching her ninth birthday. The successful candidate will provide high-quality childcare while creating a natural French-speaking environment for both the daughter and her mother. The role combines childcare, French tutoring and language enrichment. Responsibilities • Speak exclusively in French with the daughter and her mother. • Provide engaging French tuition adapted to the daughter's age and level. • Support the mother with French language practice. • Collect and accompany the daughter to/from school, activities, tutoring, friends' homes and outings. • Organise stimulating educational and age-appropriate activities in French. • Support the child's daily routine, organisation and wellbeing. • Encourage independence, confidence and curiosity. • Ensure excellent standards of safety and supervision. • Work collaboratively and discreetly with the parents. Ideal Candidate • Native French speaker with excellent spoken and written French. • Experienced Nanny, Governess, French Tutor, Teacher or Educator. • Confident teaching French to a school-aged child. • Comfortable taking sole responsibility for a child. • Valid driving licence and confident driving skills – essential. • Reliable, organised, proactive and adaptable. • Warm, engaging, discreet and professional. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Genuine commitment to a long-term position. Schedule & Accommodation Approximately 5–6 days per week, with the exact schedule agreed according to the family's needs. Flexibility is appreciated. A private apartment close to the family home is available for candidates requiring accommodation, providing privacy and independence. Salary €3,000–€4,500 net/month, depending on experience, qualifications and profile. Final package and working conditions are open to discussion.
