I m working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Bridgend that is looking to add a Bookkeeper to their team.

You ll work with a varied portfolio of SME clients, taking responsibility for day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns and general client queries. It s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their career within practice.

What you ll be doing:

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of SME clients

• Processing sales and purchase invoices

• Completing bank reconciliations

• Preparing VAT returns

• Assisting with management accounts and month-end

• Dealing with client queries

• Keeping financial records accurate and up to date

About you:

• Previous bookkeeping experience, ideally within accountancy practice

• Good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT

• Experience with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks

• Strong attention to detail and organisation

• Confident communicating with clients

• Reliable, proactive and keen to develop
