Teaching Assistant Location: Hampton Wick Infant and Nursery School, Teddington, TW11 Salary: NJC 7–NJC 10 Contracted Hours: 25–30 hours per week, plus INSET days Contract Length: 1 year, with the potential to extend Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference to their school day? Hampton Wick Infant and Nursery School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our school team. A Level 3 Early Years qualification would be desirable. You will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3–7, delivering targeted interventions and working alongside our experienced staff to provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. In this role, you will: Support children’s learning across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1, as required Deliver targeted interventions, including support with speech, language and early phonics Lead small-group activities and support whole-class learning, adapting activities to meet individual needs Contribute to assessments, observations and learning records Work closely with our SENCO and teachers to implement individual support plans for children with additional needs Support children with transitions between year groups and key stages Liaise appropriately with parents and carers to support children’s learning and development Why join us?
