Town Planner Location: Cornwall Salary: 30-45,000 Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a highly regarded, award-winning planning-led practice that is looking to appoint a Town Planner. The practice brings together a talented team of town planners, architects, designers and landscape architects, delivering a collaborative and fully integrated approach to development projects from initial ideas through to completion. The successful candidate will join a supportive and professional team working across a broad range of projects, including residential developments, barn conversions, renewable energy schemes, commercial developments and tourism projects. This role offers excellent variety and the opportunity to work on a number of interesting and challenging planning schemes. The Role We are seeking an ambitious, proactive and client-focused Town Planner with sufficient experience in a planning-related role. You will ideally have: A degree in Planning or a relevant planning qualification Sufficient experience working within the planning sector Experience managing a variety of planning applications and development proposals Excellent communication skills and confidence when working with clients A positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to your work RTPI membership would be advantageous, although it is not essential The company is also happy to provide support for candidates currently working towards RTPI chartership.
