The Tool Fitter / Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of small hire equipment, including pipe welding tools and general power tools. As a Tool Fitter / Mechanical Fitter, you will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults, carry out inspections and ensure repairs are completed to a high standard. The role would suit a Tool Fitter / Mechanical Fitter with previous experience maintaining and repairing tools, equipment or mechanical machinery. Candidates currently working as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Plant Fitter or in a similar hands-on mechanical repair role who are interested in moving into tool hire will also be considered.
