A well-established and respected higher education institution in York is seeking an experienced joiner to join its Estates Team, supporting the maintenance and upkeep of university halls of residence and campus buildings. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term contract within a stable and professional environment. Your new role You will be working as part of the Estates and Maintenance Team, carrying out a wide range of joinery repairs and maintenance across student accommodation and university facilities. Duties will include: Reactive and planned joinery maintenance Kitchen, bedroom and bathroom repairs within student accommodation Assisting with refurbishment and improvement projects Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Liaising with other trades and facilities staff as required This position is offered on a minimum 3-month contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
