Job Description
We’re working with a highly successful Private Equity firm looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join their team. This is a role for someone who knows the Private Equity environment and genuinely enjoys working alongside senior people. You’ll be supporting a small group of senior executives, so this is not a role where you’ll simply be managing diaries and booking meeting rooms. They are looking for someone who is switched-on, commercially aware and confident enough to anticipate what is needed before being asked. The team is professional, personable and high-performing, and they are looking for an EA who will fit naturally into that environment. The role You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day support of senior members of the team, including: Managing complex and often fast-moving diaries Coordinating UK and international travel and itineraries Organising meetings with investors, clients and senior external contacts Acting as a gatekeeper and trusted first point of contact Handling confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion Keeping on top of changing priorities and last-minute requests Supporting senior executives with meeting preparation and general organisation Helping to ensure the team runs smoothly and efficiently day to day What they’re looking for Private Equity experience is essential. You’ll understand the pace, the personalities and the level of service expected in this environment. Beyond your experience, personality is important. They want someone who is: Warm and personable – someone who is easy to work with and naturally builds relationships Polished and professional – you’ll be representing the firm with senior clients and investors Highly organised – you’ll be comfortable juggling multiple diaries and constantly changing priorities Discreet and trustworthy – confidentiality is absolutely key Proactive – you’ll spot things before they become problems rather than waiting to be told what to do Calm under pressure – busy days and last-minute changes won’t faze you Well presented – someone who understands the standards expected within a high-end professional environment You’ll need to be confident, personable and capable without being overly corporate or formal. A good sense of judgement and a genuine willingness to help are just as important as your EA experience. The opportunity This would suit an experienced Private Equity EA who wants to join a high-quality, collaborative firm where they will be genuinely valued. If you’re a polished and personable EA with strong Private Equity experience and are looking for a role where you can build long-term relationships with the people you support, we’d love to hear from you.
