About Our Client This role is with a company based in Bicester operating in a busy professional organisation that combines customer service, insurance administration, and financial management, requiring accurate record-keeping and effective communication with clients and external stakeholders. Job Description Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budgets. Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes. Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and efficiency. The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Assistant should have: Experience in accounting or finance-related roles, preferably within the life science industry. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. An understanding of financial regulations and procedures. Good organisational and time management skills. Effective communication skills to liaise with team members and external contacts. A positive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
