Treasurer

Shared Care Scotland is the national charity dedicated to improving the quality, choice and availability of short breaks and respite support for unpaid carers and the people they care for.We are seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of Directors and provide financial oversight, guidance and assurance as we continue to grow our impact and deliver programmes that make a meaningful difference to carers across Scotland.As Treasurer, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable, robustly governed and well positioned to achieve its strategic ambitions.About the roleWorking closely with the Chief Executive, Head of Operations, Chair, Business & Finance Committee and fellow Directors, the Treasurer will oversee the organisation's financial stewardship and support effective financial governance.The role includes helping the Board understand the organisation's financial position, supporting sound decision-making and ensuring appropriate controls, procedures and reporting arrangements are in place.About youWe are looking for someone who can bring strong financial expertise together with a commitment to good governance and the values of the voluntary sector.
