Mechanical Construction Planner Location: Bridgewater Salary : Competitive Vacancy Type: Permanent We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Mechanical Construction Planner to support the planning and delivery of mechanical construction activities within the MEH Alliance on Hinkley Point C. The role will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed mechanical Level 5 construction schedules and four-week lookahead plans. Working as part of the MEH Planning and Project Control function, the role will provide accurate, evidence-based progress information and support visibility of construction readiness, productivity, constraints and schedule risks. The successful candidate will work closely with construction and delivery teams to integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements, ensuring planned activities are ready for execution and aligned with the wider MEH programme. Key Deliverables / Accountabilities: Develop and maintain detailed mechanical Level 5 construction schedules. Prepare, maintain and update mechanical four-week lookahead plans. Ensure mechanical schedules are aligned with the overall 16-week lookahead and key programme milestones. Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements. Measure construction progress and track installed quantities against planned outputs. Provide accurate, evidence-based schedule progress updates. Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements into construction planning activities. Confirm activity readiness with construction and delivery teams. Identify construction constraints, risks and potential programme impacts, escalating issues where appropriate. Provide clear visibility of construction readiness, productivity and schedule performance to support safe and predictable delivery. Work collaboratively with the MEH Planning and Project Control team
