SEND Lecturer - 0.5 x 2 (one permanent role and one fixed term until June 2027 in the first instance). £16,241.50 - £22,800.50 per annum Dudley College of Technology is one of the most successful further education colleges in the UK, providing a wide range of education and training programmes across the West Midlands. A position has become available within the discrete SEND department for a 0.5 Lecturer to deliver vocational skills across specialisms, with personal tutor pastoral responsibilities.  The successful candidate will have: A passion for inclusive teaching and positive outcomes for young people with SEND. Qualifications and/or experience in teaching in discrete or specialist provision. Ideally have a teaching qualification, e.g. PTTLS Experience of teaching and supporting young people A calm and empathic approach to students, with experience of using adaptive teaching methods The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders such as professionals, parents, and support services Excellent organisation and time management skills Experience in horticulture or similar related activities such as scout camps/forest schools and a willingness to achieve a horticulture related qualification within the first 12 months of employment.
