Multi Trade Operative Reactive Maintenance Location: South Yorkshire / Midlands to Newcastle Working Area: Up to approximately 2 hours' travel from home Type: Ongoing Self-Employed Contract Rate: £150 £180 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm IMPORTANT SELF-EMPLOYED PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT The client will pay you directly for completed work following submission of your invoice to them. About the Role Our client is an established Facilities Management company providing reactive maintenance services across a wide geographical area. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their team, carrying out a variety of reactive maintenance and repair work across residential and commercial properties. You will need to be confident working independently, have a broad range of practical maintenance skills and be comfortable travelling to different sites as required. Key Responsibilities Your work will include a variety of reactive maintenance tasks, including: Basic joinery changing locks, replacing skirting boards and architraves Plaster patching and making good Basic plumbing changing taps, toilet cisterns and plastic pipework Basic plumbing repairs including isolating copper pipework Basic electrical work changing sockets and light fittings Identifying and reporting any additional or major repair requirements Taking photographs and providing clear notes of work completed Collecting materials when required Completing work to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements Providing a professional and customer-focused service at each site About You The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in a Multi Trade, Mai
