M&E Estimator

M&E Estimator Location: Flexible/Office & Site Based (London) Are you an experienced M&E Estimator looking to join a growing business delivering high-quality commercial projects? We're seeking a motivated and commercially minded M&E Estimator to become a key part of our pre-construction team. You'll play an integral role in producing accurate, competitive tenders for Mechanical & Electrical projects valued up to 2 million , working closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal delivery teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong estimating experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to contribute to winning exciting commercial projects. The Role As an M&E Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing tender enquiries and supporting the successful delivery of competitive bids from initial enquiry through to project handover. Working alongside our Building Estimator and M&E Contract Managers, you'll help develop commercially sound solutions while identifying value engineering opportunities and supporting supplier selection. Key Responsibilities - Prepare accurate and competitive M&E tender submissions for projects up to 2 million . - Produce first-principles estimates and detailed cost plans. - Develop prime cost plans covering all aspects of project scope. - Calculate preliminary costs required to deliver projects successfully. - Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work to prepare accurate take-offs. - Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and obtain competitive quotations. - Analyse quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications. - Carry out site visits and surveys where required to support tender submissions. - Meet with clients, consultants and supply chain partners to discuss project requirements. - Work closely with the Building Estimating team to produce coordinated bids. - Produce transpar
