We have mixed age groups, but 3 classes within each phase - three Year 3/4 classes, and three Year 5/6 classes. This allows for multiple teachers to work together to plan and share resources, significantly reducing workload for our staff which can be an issue in smaller rural schools. We share planning and resources with other rural schools within the Trust which again, reduces workload for teachers and subject leaders. We have a highly skilled team working in Maple class and across the school and Trust as a centre of excellence.
