Bumblebees are in crisis - and we need expert voices to help secure their future. The Bumblebee Conservation Trust is looking for a Conservation & Science Trustee to join our Board and help guide the science-led action needed to halt and reverse bumblebee decline. If you have knowledge and experience of UK landscape-scale, evidence-based conservation and/or UK environmental policy advocacy, your expertise could make a lasting difference for bumblebees, pollinators, people and nature.
As a science-led conservation charity, the Trust works to protect bumblebees by turning evidence into practical action. This is a rewarding opportunity to bring strategic insight, challenge and support to a mission that matters. We are proud of our inclusive culture and warmly welcome applications from people who are new to trusteeship, as well as those with previous Board experience.
If you can bring expertise in any of the following: entomology, ecology, the practical application of evidence for conservation, policy advocacy, data management and/or conservation-related education and training for citizen science projects — and can commit around one day a month — we would love to hear from you.
