As an Accounts Assistant in the retail industry based in Swansea, you'll play an essential role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. From managing invoices to assisting with reconciliations, your work will help keep the finance department running smoothly. Client Details This role is with a company in the manufacturing industry located in Swansea. Description Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. Assist with bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements. Handle queries related to accounts payable and receivable. Maintain and update financial data in accounting systems. Assist in month-end and year-end financial processes. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company policies. Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance department. Profile A successful Accounts Assistant should have: Experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within the manufacturing industry. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn. Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders. Job Offer An hourly rate of £17.00 to £21.00, dependent on the level of experience. Temporary position offering flexibility.
