Fire Stopping Estimator

Our client is a leading specialist in passive fire protection, delivering high-quality fire stopping solutions across the commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial and public sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Fire Stopping Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished estimator who has extensive knowledge of passive fire protection systems and is looking to join a forward-thinking company where quality, compliance and customer satisfaction are at the forefront of everything they do. The Role Reporting directly to the Pre-Construction Manager, you will be responsible for producing accurate and commercially competitive tenders for a wide range of fire stopping projects throughout the UK. You will play a pivotal role in the tendering process, reviewing project documentation, carrying out detailed take-offs, obtaining supplier and subcontractor quotations, identifying commercial risks and ensuring all estimates comply with current fire safety legislation and industry standards. The successful candidate will be confident working independently while collaborating closely with surveyors, project managers, contracts managers and clients to deliver accurate costings and successful project handovers. Key Responsibilities Produce detailed and accurate estimates for passive fire protection and fire stopping packages. Review tender enquiries, architectural drawings, specifications, schedules and scope documents. Carry out comprehensive quantity take-offs and material calculations. Prepare competitive tenders within strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and specialist subcontractors. Evaluate project risks, exclusions and opportunities for value engineering. Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits and client meetings where required. Build
