Job Title: Appointed Person for Civil Construction Site Location: IP17 1UT Hours: 10 hours paid per day Rate: 35 per hour (CIS) Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Appointed Person to oversee lifting operations on our civil construction site in IP17 1UT. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of all lifting activities. Key Responsibilities: Assess and plan lifting operations, including risk assessments and method statements. Collaborate with lifting teams to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate equipment selection and inspection. Provide guidance and support to team members on best practices. Maintain accurate records of all lifting activities and incidents. Requirements: Valid Appointed Person certification. Proven experience in civil construction lifting operations. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
