School Meals Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) – 2 Posts (1 Fixed Term, 1 Relief) Location: Hampton Wick Infant and Nursery School, Teddington, TW11 Salary: NJC 03 Fixed-term post: £4,989.63 per annum Relief post: £15.29 per hour Hours: Fixed term – 1.5 hours per day; Relief – as required (typically 1.5 hours per shift). Contract: 1 Fixed-term post and 1 Relief/Cover post Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their school day? Hampton Wick Infant And Nursery School is looking for Relief School Meals Supervisory Assistants (SMSAs) to join our friendly team. This is a flexible, cover role, ideal for candidates who are happy to work as required to cover staff absence, sometimes at short notice. As a Relief SMSA, you will: Supervise and support our pupils during mealtimes and playtimes Encourage safe eating, support positive play, and promote good behaviour Assist with basic first aid (training provided) Be a positive role model for our children, supporting their wellbeing and safety What we’re looking for: Reliable, friendly, and flexible individuals Good communication and behaviour management skills Experience working with children is an advantage, but not essential Why join us?
