Company van provided Fuel card included Weekly CIS payments Fully stocked van supplied Opportunity for a pay review Long-term work with the potential to become permanent About the Position We're recruiting on behalf of a leading maintenance contractor for an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to support a busy repairs and maintenance on a social housing contract across South Birmingham. You'll be working within occupied homes, carrying out a mixture of planned maintenance, property improvements, and day-to-day repairs. This is a customer-facing role, so you'll need to take pride in both the quality of your work and the service you provide. Day-to-Day Duties Complete carpentry repairs and installations within domestic properties. Carry out additional multi-trade work, including basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, and general maintenance. Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard. Build positive relationships with tenants while working in their homes. Keep accurate records of completed work where required. About You To be considered, you'll need: NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification in Carpentry or another relevant trade. Previous experience working within social housing, local authority, or residential maintenance. A good level of multi-trade knowledge with the ability to turn your hand to a range of repairs.
