VIP Governess Nanny – Kensington & Chelsea, London & Worldwide Travel **Start Date:** ASAP **Location:** Kensington & Chelsea, London, with frequent worldwide travel **Working Hours:** 10:00am–7:00pm **Contract:** Three-month rolling contract **Salary:** Highly competitive, dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced, professional and adaptable **VIP Governess Nanny** to care for and support a five-year-old child within a fully staffed household based in Kensington & Chelsea. The family divides its time between London and destinations around the world. The successful candidate must therefore be willing and able to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice. The Role * Providing exceptional care, educational support and guidance for a five-year-old child. * Supporting the child’s learning and development through engaging, educational and age-appropriate activities. * Assisting with homework, reading, school projects and academic development. * Encouraging good manners, confidence, independence and positive social development. * Liaising with the parents, school, tutors and other professionals regarding the child’s education and progress. * Working collaboratively within a fully staffed VIP household. * Supporting the child’s daily routine, including mealtimes, travel, activities and outings. * Ensuring the child’s wellbeing, safety and development at all times. * Researching and organising educational, cultural and recreational activities in London and while travelling. * Packing and organising the child’s belongings for international travel. * Maintaining the child’s bedroom, play areas, wardrobe, school materials and belongings to an impeccable standard. * Preparing healthy meals and snacks when required. * Supporting with the child’s laundry and all child-related duties. * Accompanying the family on frequent worldwide travel and maintaining a consistent routine while away. The Ideal Candidate * A fluent English speaker with excellent written and spoken communication skills. * Previous experience as a Governess Nanny within a VIP or UHNW household. * Strong experience caring for and supporting children of a similar age. * A strong educational background or relevant teaching, tutoring or childcare qualifications. * Confident supporting a child’s academic, emotional and social development. * Experienced in working collaboratively within a fully staffed household. * Flexible, highly organised and adaptable to changing schedules. * Calm, discreet, proactive and highly professional. * Comfortable travelling extensively worldwide and at short notice. * Excellent references and a strong, stable employment history. * Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification, or willingness to update them. * A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
