What you will do:

• Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments, reviews, support planning, and commissioning services for adults with mental health needs.
• Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments, make Best Interest decisions, and contribute to Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards processes where applicable.
• Carry out statutory duties under the Mental Health Act 1983, including Section 117 aftercare planning and reviews.
• Manage a caseload of adults with complex mental health presentations, ensuring timely interventions and effective risk management.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work, BA (Hons), MA Social Work, DipSW or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Evidence of continued professional development.

Registration & Compliance:

• Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).

Experience:

• Post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care, Community Mental Health Services, or a related statutory setting.
• Experience supporting adults with severe and enduring mental health conditions, dual diagnosis, or substance misuse needs.
