Job Title: Electrician - Maintenance/Installer Contract Type: Sub-Contracting Salary Range: £250 - £450 a day (price work) Working Location: Bristol Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team, subcontracting working from Bristol City Council in a price-work position. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, mainly focusing on occupied housing rewires. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and fault finding within occupied social housing properties Fault finding, testing, and remedial works Consumer unit replacements, rewires, lighting upgrades, and general electrical repairs Ensuring all work is completed to current regulations and health & safety standards Delivering excellent customer service to tenants and clients Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted Requirements: Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services - Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) or equivalent 2391 18th Edition Proven experience as an Electrician within the social housing sector is essential Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience Full UK Driving Licence What's on Offer: Price work varying from £250 - £450 a day Sub-contracting Immedia
