Mobile Fabric Engineer

DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer on behalf of a leading commercial Facilities Management company. The Role As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs across a variety of commercial sites. Working independently, you'll ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to clients. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across multiple commercial sites. Complete a range of carpentry, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks. Repair doors, locks, windows, ceilings, flooring and partition walls. Undertake painting, decorating, patch plastering and tiling repairs. Carry out basic plumbing works, including repairs to taps, toilets and associated pipework. Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance issues. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures and health & safety legislation. Accurately complete job reports and update the CAFM system using a handheld device. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams. About You Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, Handyperson or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative. Strong all-round knowledge of commercial building fabric maintenance. Experience within commercial Facilities Management is highly desirable.
