Design Coordinator Location: Bromley Division: Planned Works Working Arrangement: Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation We are currently recruiting for a Design Coordinator to join a growing Planned Works division. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced design professional to play a key role in coordinating design delivery across a range of planned works projects. The ideal candidate will have experience within maintenance, refurbishment, planned works or social housing , with a strong understanding of construction design processes and the ability to coordinate consultants, drawings and technical information through to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage design activities from tender through to completion and handover. Coordinate external consultants, specialist designers and project teams. Maintain design trackers, drawing registers, RFI logs and design programmes. Ensure design information is reviewed, approved and issued through the CDE. Monitor design progress and identify or escalate risks, delays and information gaps. Lead design meetings and manage actions, deliverables and technical queries. Coordinate design releases and construction information to support project programmes. Maintain design risk registers and identify potential cost, quality and programme impacts. Ensure relevant Building Regulations, Building Safety Act and handover requirements are managed. Work closely with Commercial, Operations, Quality and Site teams. Support quality assurance, inspections and project compliance requirements. Ensure accurate design records are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. About You Experience in a Design Coordinator or similar design management role within construction, refurbishment, planned works or Design & Build.
